things which are awesome

Awesome is what gives Kevin his power. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together.

Actually, awesome is going to be Friday, Saturday and Superbowl Sunday.

I'm looking forward for a nice relaxing movie night on Friday. Drink Hard starring Bruce Willis is the film of choice. I'm especially excited for the whenever someone says Nakatomi; do a sake-bomb rule. Awesome.

Saturday is pre-SUPERBOWL festivities like food prep and playing excessive amounts of Madden. Can't wait to eat football shaped pancakes with bacon laces covered in Jack Daniels syrup; cause we about to get drunk off pancakes.

Awesome will be oozing out of every pore on Sunday as I watch Tom Brady complete what will be many touchdown passes to Chad Ochocinco, our secret but deadly weapon and my Superbowl MVP prediction.

The other day a friend sent me this awesome wallpaper link.

To think, recently we talked about hand painting wallpaperesque pattern, grid style stuff in the closets to make them look cool. It's ok, should be fun cause I like to do meticulous stuff like that, painting and all; but helmeted bad guy Star Wars wallpaper closets... this is simply more awesome.

Onto a different kind of awesome. In my recent interneting I stumbled across 1000 awesome things.
http://1000awesomethings.com/
It's a blog that lists one awesome thing a day and either tells a story about why it's awesome, has a picture or drawing, etc.

I can easily say that I notice awesome things all the time and what I think is awesome is way less PG than "the honor system" or "the sun". That's right, I'm totally going to copy this idea for however long I remember to. Here we go.

#1000 - Musical Interludes

I listen to a lot of music at work because it helps drown out the outside world and lets me focus on the stuff I'm doing. It basically replaces everything bad with awesome. I can rock out to the same album all day until it feels like one continuous song; the best way to get to know new albums. I figure if you don't listen to the whole album you might miss these awesome subtleties; like musical interludes.

Is there a bad musical interlude?

Well, if the intermission in Lord of the Drinks extended edition counts, then yes. It kinda kills the game if you know what I mean.
